It definitely checked all my boxes: beautiful, colorful, artistic, and oh-so-unique! I booked the table online and was so excited to experience it in person. Giorgia Trattoria in Munich is one of 19 funky restaurants created by the two Frenchmen Tigrane Seydoux and Victor Lugger. They are founders of a group of 65 creative individuals from Italy called Big Mamma Group. Two of their restaurants are located in Germany – Coccodrillo in Berlin, and Giorgia Trattoria in Munich opened in June of 2022.

They also serve cocktails in ceramic mugs shaped like boobs. Yes, you heard that right! It’s definitely a unique way to enjoy a drink, one might say.
This unique cocktail – Let That Man-Go Rule, is made with bourbon whiskey, mango, ginger beer, cardamom bitters, and lime.

I have to be honest, I didn’t see the photos of the restroom during my research, so I didn’t know what to expect. But I was sure it would look amazing. What I didn’t anticipate was just how incredible this restroom would be! Just when you think Giorgia Trattoria couldn’t get any more unique, you step into the restroom. The first thing you notice is a cluster of disco balls hanging from the ceiling, and mirrors everywhere. And when I say everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE, even inside the toilet itself. 🙂
It’s like stepping into a mini disco, complete with reflective surfaces that catch the light in the most delightful way. Even the toilet seat is completely unique, resembling a beer tower, with a reservoir of water in the upper part of the toilet. This quirky and unexpected design adds a fun twist to the overall experience. It’s these little surprises that make Giorgia Trattoria stand out from other restaurants.
